Returning a purchase as incorrect description

Should I use returns button or is it safe to just contact seller directly as she has said she will not cover my returns postage but will refund what I paid?

You open a not as described dispute not a returns dispute.

Choosing My item was not s described or similar

All problems should be done through the resolution centre

 

Open a not as described dispute at the bottom of the page under Resolution Centre and escalate it when ebay say you can. It will tell you on the email you receive

The seller needs to send a pre paid label for the return

If they dont then ebay should when you escalate the dispute

 

You have 30 days from the day of delivery to open a dispute in ebay
