Hello
i have been getting hassle from a fellow eBay user saying he won't issue a refund.
i purchased an item from him and on arrival it was faulty and smell terrible of smoke
i have opened a return request and a refund
however the seller will not supply me with a return address and says it was fine when he sent it...
does anyone know where I stand with this and what I have to do

When you opened the case, did you select "item not as described"? If so, wait until the case has been open for 8 full days and then ask eBay to step in. At that point they will give you a prepaid returns label to print and use at the seller's expense, assuming that this was not an international transaction.
If you have opened a case for any other reason then leave it open and phone customer support and ask them to change it over for you, they will be able to help provided that you have not closed the case.
