.Item not has described. Contacted seller they agreed if I sent it back I would get refund.
Tried to print return pre-paid postal label, kept coming out blank, so contacted seller, they supplied their address, so sent item back (paid for postage), they messaged back to say that they have recieved it, but 2 weeks have past and no contact from seller or refund. Ebay refund staus: waiting for me to sent item back with pre-paid label. Need help do not know what to do next.
You don't actually say you opened a Not As Described Case, did you?That ishow you get a reply paid label, there is no "Seller accepts" they have no choice they either deal with it voluntary or yoy escalate to ebay and ebay do it at their expense.
By paying the return postage you will not get it refunded. Just shows how things go wrong when you invent your own return system.
If you didn't open a proper case do so now and enter the tracking and escalate to ebay after 8 days. Without tracking to peove delivery no refund.
Ebay put the money back guarantee on every listing, it is a good idea to read it and do returns using the proper instructions.
All you can do is input the tracking number showing delivery back to the seller.
If you did not use tracking there may be a 16 digit number on the PoP otherwise you will probably get no refund.
You will not get repaid the postage in any event.
In future just open a case in the resolution centre [link below]. Do not contact the seller - he does not have to "agree". If you open a case he has to abide with his responsibilities to ebay
Opening the case notifies him and eBay!
