Return to china

Hi I have a querie , I want to send an item back for refund .... The item was from a Chinese seller who I presume has a base in the UK as it only took 3 days to arrive

When looking at returning it , it shows a Chinese address , Shen Zhen , which can't be the address it was originally sent from !!!!  it's supposed to be returned by 28 July which is impossible... any one else had this problem?

What is the reason for wanting to return it?

If it's a money back guarantee case, if the listing stated that the item was located in the UK, you only have to return it to the seller's UK address. The seller will be required to send you a prepaid return label.

If it's a buyer remorse return the position is slightly different. Firstly, not all sellers are required to accept returns, but if they do they are required to honour their returns policy. The buyer pays the return postage. Where an overseas seller sells an item located in the UK, the address to which it is to be returned, if different, must not result in an increased cost for the buyer.

For further information you will need to wade through eBay's increasingly long and complicated money back guarantee policy, which now also includes buyer remorse returns: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/money-back-guarantee.html
