Return request

Hi. A buyer has requested return of an iwatchvthat I sold, listed as damaged but still working. 30 days later the buyer has opened a return request stating that the watch was not as listed - he claims it's not working. The listing shows photo of the watch working and I have a no return policy. 
I believe he has tried to fix it and made it worse so I will be out of pocket if I accept the return. However eBay is saying I must accept the return - do I have any alternative??

No you dont have any alternative

If they open a dispute for not as described then you will have to accept it back and refund once you have itl You will need to send a pre paid label for the return

They have 30 days to open the dispute

I looked at the item and wonder how you can send a photo of a watch working?

An iwatch has screen that is blank if it is not working, but has digital display - this is the photo I listed. It seems so unfair that the buyer can claim that he waited 29 days before he checked if it was working. The U.K. statutory law states that a return must be requested within 14 days of receipt, so why does eBay differ from this?? I feel very let down having worked so hard to be a good, honest seller...

WE all have problems like this at some time if we are selling on ebay. Not fair but the terms we agree too when we join. Onve the buyer opens the dispute and you send the label then they have 14 days to return.
