Return request partial refund

A buyer has said she wants to return one of my items but keep the other so has opened a return request. I said to her over message I was happy to refund half if she sent it back to me. But if I offer partial refund then I don't get my item back? Or if I accept the return do I have to pay her back for both items in full the original price she paid?

If you do a partial refund she gets to keep the item.  If you want it back [and it's probably not financially worth it] she opens a not as described case, you send a label [at your cost] she returns both and you refund.  You get a fee credit. 

Or - and it's outwith eBay - you send her the postage after the partial refund and she returns the other cardi.  If she does not there is nothing you can do though.

@arkwebus i suppose I'm stuck either way as if I accept the return and she only returns one cardi then I lose the whole lot. I've offered her a partial refund and if she returns the cardi then at least she's a nice person haha!
