How can i appeal.

Lke so many buyers, you should have taken the time to read about eBay's resolution procedures before returning it. It would have been SO simple to have used the correct procedure.

What you should have done is to open a case under eBay's money back guarantee. The seller would not have been able to close this, and would even have been required to send a prepaid return label.

You can't appeal an ordinary return request, if this is what you sent the seller. This is for change of mind returns, and sellers are not required to accept them unless this is their stated returns policy.  If the listing does state that they accept returns, and the seller has refused to do so, you should be able to get eBay to change the return request changed into an MBG case, see: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/money-back-guarantee.html

If you can't do this, eBay will not allow you to open a second case for the same item. However, if you paid by Paypal, you can still file a dispute under Paypal's longer, 180 day buyer protection policy, see: https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/article/what-if-i-didn%27t-receive-my-item-or-it%27s-not-as-adve...

Unlike eBay, PayPal requires the buyer to pay for the return postage, unless you first register for their (free) "Return shipping on us" service, see: https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/refunded-returns
