Hi All,
I am struggling to know what to do to sort out mobile phone failure within 6 month from purchase.
I have emailed (messaged) the seller but no reply so far.
I tried recontacting the seller and get "Unfortunately, this seller isn't able to respond to your question."
How do I esculate this as I am now without a phone?
Many thanks
Bill
I'm afraid that eBay and PayPal's limited buyer protection schemes only cover the condition of items on delivery. They are not a warranty, and don't guarantee quality or cover faults that occur in use.
Any responsibility now rests with the seller. If they're a UK business seller you can ask citizens advice or trading standards for advice, or consider using the small claims court or the Courts and Tribunals internet based money claim service, see: https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome.
It they're a private seller or abroad there's nothing you can do.
This is one of the risks of buying on eBay. Even if you get a warranty, it may be worthless. EBay isn't like the shops.
