Return label

Hi I've returned an item without using ebay return label so I just paid at the post office *sign for* the seller has received item back but eBay  will  not refund we think because I didn't use there return label and it won't let me add new tracking details...

Ebay doesn't refund, the seller refunds.

As you have not used the system properly, you cannot ask ebay to help, BUT there is nothing preventing the seller from refunding.

It is important to use systems properly then if seller does not refund you can ask ebay to step in and they will refund at the sellers expense.

To get your tracking loaded you would have to ask ebay to do it. Using the printed label it automatically gets loaded when scanned at the post office.
