I have an issue. Here is the order of events
1. I ordered a display module
2. I recieved the module and tested it, image was blurry with lines across the display
3. Contacted seller asking to send me a replacement
4. Seller replied agreeing to send a replacement but only if I buy something else from his store
5. Proceeded to buy something else from the store, seller told me to leave a note on the order as well as message him that he should include the replacement display as well as the new order number so I did it. He didn't say he put it in the package of item 2 he just said "do not worry"
6. Second item arrived without the replacement display so I contact him quite **bleep** off
7. Started a support request with ebay and I could ask them to step in on the 8th dec
8. In the grace period that ebay offers to the seller to resolve the issue. The seller only refunded the price of the SECOND ITEM which was completely fine and now he is saying "let me refund only £1 of the item price and you can change the feedback you left on my account"
9. This is unacceptable, refund of only £1 for his mistakes? Seller only did that refund so that my refund ticket gets closed before I can ask ebay to step in.
10. Now I need help contacting ebay please please help me out
You've made problems for yourself here - and for us, trying to advise you.
You didn't even think to tell us WHEN you bought and received this item, or that you bought it direct from China. In fact it was bought on 24th October, for delivery from ShenZhen, I think with an estimated delivery date of up to about 4 weeks, depending on the delivery option selected.
Depending upon the actual date of delivery, you may still be eligible to open a case under eBay's 30 day money back guarantee. You do this through the resolution centre: http://resolutioncentre.ebay.co.uk/
A case must be opened within 30 days after the actual or latest estimated delivery date. Unfortunately, as you bought the item direct from China, you will probably have to return it to China at your own expense to get a refund, and the return postage is likely to be more than the £2.79 you paid for this item, with delivery. If you go ahead with the case, after 8 days the option will appear to escalate the case, if necessary, for eBay to step in. If still unresolved escalate it, and don't agree to close the case before you have your refund.
For the future, you need to read and follow eBay's money back guarantee procedure, instead of trying to resolve problems with sellers yourself. There's a link to it at the top of every listing.
I really don't understand why you agreed to buy a 2nd product from them when the 1st one wasn't up to scratch.
Did you open a not as described case for the original sale? It's not clear from your post whether or not you did.
If you didn't do that now if you're still within the 30 day from estimated date of delivery deadline.
