Resolution centre options do not include the purchases I need help with

Hi - I wondered if anyone could offer some advice.

 

I'm a comic collector and earlier this year I pre-ordered and paid for two comics. Then, of course, COVID-19 delayed everything!

To be fair to the seller, he did initially contact me to say that because of the pandemic there would be a delay - and as a result he had to record the items as sent. As I've used him many times in the past - and always got great service - I took this with good faith.

 

Many months later the comics were published and went on sale...but I haven't received my pre-orders. I have sent the seller several messages over the past few weeks (including one to their actual store) and all have been ignored.

 

My problem is that when I follow steps to try to get a resolution the items were purchased so long ago they are no longer offered as an option (I am only offered items to select since September). 

 

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Grateful for any guidance or advice!

You only have 30 days from delivery to open ebay case, so probably too late.

Try paypal case, escalate after 2 days.
