Reporting eBay to UK Trading Standards

eBay have lost me £14.99p because of a order I made 13/11/2020  the item was meant arrive on either the 17/11/2020 or 18/11/2020 and never arrived on either of those days , on the 19/11/2020 I contacted the seller and asked what the delay was they blame it on to Royal Mail and told me that they were not responsable I waited until the 20/11/2020 and the item had still not arrived , I then contacted the seller again and told them no longer wanted the item and going to refuse delivery when it arrived as it was for a customer of mine who's computer I was repairing and that the customer I had went took their computer elsewhere to be repaired because they were willing to wait any longer they had waited longer enough . The item then arrived on the 21/11/2020 at 11.41 am and at 11.46 am was marked return to sender that was a full 3 days later that the expected delivery date even which 17/11/2020 or 18/11/2020 I belivev that I was indeed within my rigths to refuse delivery as it was 3 days passed the delivery date given I tried to explain this to ebay in my appeal but it appears that they refused to investigate my claim for a my refund the item was refused delivery on 21/11/2020 and every time i contact the seller they tell me that it has not been return yet and refuse to give me my refund I have asked the seller politely for their full name and address so ii can contact Trading Standards which they refuse to give so I need to contact Trading Standards  because I fill that if they had took the time and check all the evidence that I did indeed refuse delivery and had the item returned to sender the outcome of my case would be that got my refund of £14.99p thank you Regards Michael2149

You seem to have made up your own rules on how to deal with problems on ebay

The item was delivered to you but you refused it

You should not have done that and should have opened a returns request and returned it at your own expense to the seller

What was the latest estimated day of delivery on the listing

The item arrived one week after you bought it.

There are delays on the mail sometimes and you always should allow a little time

Did you pay for the express delivery?.

If the item did not have a return address on the package then the RM would be unable to return it too the seller

I dont think Trading standards would be interested in your problem

Very unfair to even think of reporting them

They are a business and if eventually they do get their item back then they should refund
