I purchased a bottle of aquarium waste control from a private seller advertised as new, on arrival the package was intact but the item was not new it had already been opened and the expiration date was Jan 2016. The seller has agreed for me to return the item after some hesitation on his part and he will on receipt refund my money but, I feel this item not knowing what is in the bottle should not be returned by post as on the bottle it states Keep out of reach by children and because of what it is used for I am am most wary of its possible Toxic content.
Should I report this to eBay or seal the bottle as best I can and return it? I only have 5 days to make this decision.
If I complain to ebay what do I tell them?
Please help me someone.
