Reporting a dangerous electrical item

I purchased led lights that have started to smell at the transformer, contacting the seller that’s asking me to make a video of it which I done so. Seller thinks 30percent discount is ok. But more importantly item should be recalled as it may burn someone’s house down causing death.

When did you buy it and from where?

Many items bought from China are fake or not as described or actually dangerous

You have 30 days to open a dispute

Does it say from the UK on the listing

If it does then that is where it goes back too

Open a not as described dispute at the bottom of the page under Resolution Centre.

Escalate it after a full 3 days of opening the dispute.

The seller needs to send a pre paid label for the return.

If they dont then ebay should when you escalate the dispute.

Make sure it goes back tracked and that the tracking is in the dispute.

You have 30 days from the day of delivery to open a dispute in ebay

If you bought from a UK business then consider reporting to Trading Standards.  Nothing ebay will do about it.
