Hi all I'm selling a expensive necklace on eBay I keep getting messages from someone who claims they won't to buy it but i know that it is s scammer as I told them that I have revisited the item so they can make an offer. After two messages I ignored them, as I told them I wound not sell outside of eBay. They are saying they will buy for higher the I amount and I still keep getting messages daily. I've block them in two messages when I contacted customer support and was given the link to do this. Getting really peeped with this now. Other than take it down is there anything else that I can do?

I'm afraid it's par for the course; anyone selling desirable items like iphones, designer goods or gold jewellery is almost sure to be targeted.
All you can do is stick to the rules, and use a properly insured and tracked delivery service, as you are doing.
Not wanting to worry you, but the real risk comes when you have sold it. EBay makes it childishly easy for buyers to invent any reason to return items. You would then have to pay for the return postage, and refund in full on return. You may even be required to arrange and pay for the return postage from abroad - this never used to be the case, but recently some sellers have told us that this is what eBay has required.
All to often we hear from sellers who claim that their buyer has switched the valuable item they sold and returned a worthless one. Several have told us that eBay's attitude was that as they didn't see the item the seller sent, they couldn't verify who had the valid case or "take sides". EBay's idea of not taking sides was to apply its default policy of giving the benefit of any doubt to the buyer, and making the seller refund them.
EBay has become a very risky place to sell anything of value.
