Removing the reserved

Good day 

I have a item for sale and its almost at the end of the sale but it not reached the reserve and I'm happy if it doesn't can I remove the reseveiv tried to customise and it has taken the tick out of the reserve box but the valve I reserved at just won't go iv tried but I keeps returning and and on the item selling page it still says reserve not met .

Then why did you set a reserve? Didn't you realise that eBay will charge you a 4% fee on the reserve price, whether on not the item sells?

Reserves are very expensive and can put many buyers off bidding. They make money for eBay! For sellers, it's almost always better and cheaper just to start the auction at the lowest price you would be willing to accept.

Thanks, a bit new to all this but have learnt alot this time round I have lowered my reserve to a more acceptable price maybe I was hoping a bit to much .
