Removal of Robertsons badge for sale

Ebay have removed my item from sale, saying its inappropriate, I.e. depicts a Golliwog in an enamel badge, Robertsons Golden Shred collectables. But many others remain for sale. Why aren't the others removed from sale?

Because today was your turn to get caught - tomorrow someone else will get caught.

eBay don't look for listing violations, they rely on reports, someone reported yours, tomorrow someone will report someone else's.

They are removed when reported.......any Golly related items are prohibited from eBay.....do not try to relist

Most people who list as Robertson badges know the restriction so do not mention Golly......but that compounds the offence as eBayknow that the sellers know they are trying to circumvent the rules

Ebay seem to set an example at random as they ignore reports and the majority get through the system, you were just unlucky, but heed the warning and do not relist.

Daft as it may seem ebay has somewhere hidden away a category that still covers Golly Badges.

Robertsons stopped the Badges a long while ago, they used to give the money from sales to Charity, so now the Charities get nothing.

They are on the prohibited list as inapropriate.

Anything to do with golliwogs are included like the dolls and plaster models

That has been in force for a long long time now
