Firstly I'm absolutely devastated by ebay, paypal and how sellers can get away with things.  I bid on, what was advertised as, a new in box, full working order  vax vacuum.   However, it arrived, yes looked as new but lol tube handle dented and you have to hold your finger on the button for it to work.  Take your finger off and it stops lol.

I was very angry as it was obviously not working at all.  Contacted the seller, who kindly collected the vax as I'm housebound.   However now I have no proof it was collected and ebay and paypal want proof it was collected.  Of course the seller doesn't know how to tell ebay or PayPal she has the vax vacuum back lol.  So I'm out of quite a bit of money while they have the broken vacuum and my money.   Please be careful as you do not get support from PayPal or ebay

You should have Opened an Item Not As Described Case in the Resolution Centre. The Seller has to generate a Returns Label through the Case. You could have asked EBay for a Courier Collection. Once Tracking shows as Delivered to the Seller EBay would have then Refunded you.

She doesn't have to tell anyone she's got it back, she can just refund you.

PayPal want proof of return or no money back.  She is just playing games with me.  She knows I have a severely autistic daughter and just lost my mother to cancer but not refunded meSent from my Galaxy

Going DIY on returns is never a good idea. As said, both eBay and PayPal buyer protection processes require online evidence of return.
