Buyer purchased an item and paid for it with an eCheuque. Buyer didn't want to wait so long for an eCheque to clear so we mutually agreed to cancel the order which we did in the Resolution Centre.
Cancelling the order didn't cancel the eCheque though, and it eventually cleared into my PayPal. I issued a refund for the eCheque in PayPal and the order is marked as refunded in eBay.
Yet eBay still says the order needs to be dispatched and that it is overdue.
How do I close this eBay order?
Resolution Centre says "This case is closed. The buyer has accepted the seller's request to cancel this transaction." for the order so it should all be done.
Also, the Cancel Order option is still available on the eBay order. But progressing through and confirming the cancellation results in the message:
"Unfortunately, we can't cancel your order. You can't cancel this order at the moment because there's a PayPal case open for it"
just delete it from your selling page
click on the tiny square box next to the item on your sold page and then click on delete at the top of the page
