Ask your buyer to open the relevant case in the Resolution Centre links at bottom of most pages.
You then fully refund through those case details, and within 8 days. That way your seller fee is refunded, and no defect for your account.
If the item was daulty, not as described, you have to pay for that fully tracked return postage to get your item back first before refunding.
