Refund

How do I get eBay to actually help me instead of just given me pointless helpless FAQ's? A seller is refusing to refund for a unwanted unused and falsely described item, sent it back to them over a month ago, they claim to be UK seller but actually like many 'UK' sellers are actually based in China!

If you opened a "not as described" return case it has to be escalated within 30 days otherwise it will expire.   The item also has to be returned using trackable postage because that is what ebay will go by to check if the item has been delivered back to the seller before they issue the refund.

If you're out of time for ebay you could try Paypal if you used them.    Open a return here:

https://www.paypal.com/uk/disputes/

Enter the tracking number and escalate it after 2 days and before 20 days.

Uness you used the ebay money back guarantee and returned it throughh that there is no way for you to enforce a refund.

Where did you get the address from to return it? If a case is opened the seller has to send you a prepaid label so you know it goes to the correct address.

You are too late now to open one as you need to do it before 30 days have elapsed but, if you paid via Paypal you could try opening a case there, as you get 180 days.  Add the tracking into the case and escalate as soon as you can.
