Refund of postage

Tried to ring Ebay twice now was on hold 90 minutes and second call been waiting 30 minutes so how do you ever get to speak to someone as going to hang up.

I purchased some trousers for my 13 year old grandaughter ordered 14-15 years so plenty of wear when they came straightaway I knew they must be wrong sizing would not have fitted an 11 year olf told seller this they told me to still show them grandaughter and let them know she could not even get her leg in them.

Went through Ebay to start a return off and they stated needed to return sent them recorded delivery £3.95, today Ebay status says refund as been given and I do not need to return item, of course I had to return them as Ebay stated this.

Seller refuses to refund postage they state it says they do not refund postage but as I told them the item was wrongly sized their feedback shows that many other have had the same issue, so how can I get Ebay to sort this as they never answer the phone and their status is showing that I have been refunded yes I have but not for the return postage which you have to send recorded according to their rules
