Refund of money from seller

A seller told me the item I bought was out of stock, and could he give me a refund, which I agreed. And he didn't want unfavourable feedback.

I was then sent a message by ebay saying he was refunding my money because of a problem with the delivery address.

However the seller has the same items for sale on multiple selling positions for almost double the cost, he was lying, he has these items for sale in his shop, and didn't want to sell to me for less, I wouldn't mind but he used me as an excuse. Is it worth leaving bad feedback?

Just leave negative feedback saying "Seller would not honour the sale". Keep it brief the more you say the more chance you will say something that is not allowed and seller can get it removed.

To cancel the seller has to give a reason to get a refund of the selling fee.  As you had agreed he should have used "Buyers Request".

If he had used out of stock he would have been penalised with a defect and no refund of selling fee.
