Refund from seller no longer on ebay

I am due to send an item back for false description. I have printed the relevant postage labels, however the seller is no longer active. How can I be sure that after I return the item I will actually get a refund and not ignored?

Post item, only has to show attempted delivery to get refund.

Escalate case 3 days after tracking shows this.
