Refund as an item was sold to me with a misleading listing

Hello . I have been a regular user of Ebay for many years and have never had cause for complaint till now.

I bought an item on a Monday the listing stated 48 hr dilevery in bold letters which was the main attraction as I needed it for the weekend. However as it had not arrived by Thursday I contacted the seller who was less than helpful .  On Friday I told the seller to concell the order as I was going to buy a simular item localy , which I did.

The following Tuesday the item arrived so I sent it back by return. The tracker on the pacaging showed the item had not been collected till Thursday and was sent by " Budget Saver "

The seller will not return my money . 

         I would very much appreciate some help with this . Thank you.

If a Business Seller who accepts Returns within 30 days you should have Returned it through Ebay using the Ebay Money Back Guarantee. The Seller couldn't Cancel if the Item was already Posted.

This encounter with this rude and unhelpful seller has certainly put me right off this type of purchase. Having him ring my sick wife with treats was about the very limit. I was unable to get any help from Ebay. As I see it this was a obvious misleading listing to state 48 hr delivery, Then not post the item for 2 days on budget saver which took 4 days.
