Received a return in error

Hi - I have received an item (a return) that a) I didn't sell and b) have not bought. Limited information is available on the returns slip and searched for the otem number and or buyer reference have drawn a blank. How can I return the item to the sender and/ or contact original seller and/ or buyer.

On the other hand is it possible someone is using my address?

Thanks for all help. The standard feedback and FAQ on here is not helpful. Anyone got a contact number for ebay?

Thanks,

Sean

Ebay would be no wiser than you are, so a waste ofvtime talking to someone in Manila.

It is not up to you to pay to return, if not addressed to you mark as"NOT KNOWN AT THIS ADDRESS" and put back in post.

Beware of any stranger calling to collect as sent to you in error,  as this seems to be happening too frequently and there must be a scam involved.

Apart from using "Not Known" there is little you can do apart from waiting to see if anyone contacts you, but they MUST pay any postage involved, it is not your problem.

Contact Ebay from Help and Contact at the very top or foot of the Page. Enter Advanced Search. Scroll down to the Phone Link for EBay to Call you back. Live Chat should also be available. Report the Seller for Fraudulently using your Address for Returns.
