Re Managed Pyaments-do we have to enage in this?

I am asking re managed payments, due for sellers from June/July.

I dont intend taking on as I am a small part time business and do not have a business bank account.Can anyone advise on this please?

you can't chose whether to use it or not, it is compulsory if you want to continue using ebay to sell,

you don't need a 'business' bank account, you just need a bank account with the same name you use on ebay

so, you need to revise your business seller details and change your 'business name' to your own name instead of 'Boho Diva Charms'

Hello, thank you for help as couldnt find much on ebay pages.I think ebay are pushing for business bank accounts as my name Christine.. wont exactly shout bead and jewlery making! lovely ,thank you

as the only place 'Boho Diva Charms' is shown is the business information box at the bottom of your listings I don't think it will make much difference

Yes thats true.
But ebay does say on their overview-
'It’s also important to ensure that your account type on eBay matches your bank account type. For example, if you have a business eBay account, you’ll need a business bank account to enroll in managed payments'.  so a business seller will need business account? do you know please?

there is no way ebay can know whether the account you use is a business one or not,

so as far as we can tell, you don't have to have a 'business' bank account,
