I get that the book I am trying to sell is completely unacceptable nowadays. However there are many copies on ebay for sale. (Little Black Sambo by Helen Bannerman). My listing is not being accepted but, despite the promise to have the others removed - they are still there. How do some sellers manage to list but not others. It is unfair and discriminatory.

Like so many things on ebay, it is not fair. Yours was obviously reported and someone acted on the report. Most reports nothing happens, even when far more offensive than this little book.
I am afraid that it is PC madness, suggest you use the report link on some and see if it produces any results.
If you relisted you would be in trouble but I do wish that ebay would apply the same rules to all, and not just the unlucky few.
