RIPPED OF BY GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAMME

I would like to warn everybody about the GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAMME

! I listed an item on UK ebay and UK ebay allowed the item to be seen abroad. I sold it to German guy and was forced to use the global shipping program. The idea is that whilst the parcel logs in to the UK centre the seller's responsibility is being transferred to ebay. My parcel logged on withing 24 hours since sending, I was paid the money, inoiced for transaction and then after I paid my fees I was taken my money back as the German guy opened the case with German ebay about the undelivered item. At the minute, I have no money, no item and no right to dispute the situation and compensation with the courrier. German ebay according to them has got different rules about the shipping programme and protection of transactions and insists on not giving me the money back. English ebay ignors my concerns (rung them and emailed at least 12 times in last 3 weeks) and says it is beyond their remit to deal with German ebay.

I am unable to receive the parcel back as it was send via UK Shipping Centre and at the minute I am riped of £380 including my fee for transaction.

Hello,

thank you for getting back to us regarding the case 5091733400. You suggest that you are not responsible for the loss of the item, once it reaches the UK Shipping Centre. I understand that this is disappointing for you. Allow me to explain the situation from our perspective.

I understand that the outcome of this case is disappointing. I assure you that we have examined this from every standpoint. As we have reached the same conclusions, I’d like confirm that this case has been resolved in accordance with the PayPal’s Buyer Protection policy.

Although you may disagree with this outcome, please accept that we will not change our way of proceeding in this claim.

Please note, that the case was opened on the German site, because the item was bought via the eBay.de site. I would like to ask you for your kind understanding that the UK Buyer Protection Policy differs a little from the German one. The procedures are different too. Therefore I would like to apologise you for the misunderstanding.

Please note that all decisions regarding claims for "eBay Buyer Protection for items paid with PayPal" will be made in accordance with PayPal's Buyer Protection policy:

https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/buyerprotection-full?locale.x=en_DE

Please kindly accept that we must proceed in accordance with the guidelines and please do not take it personally - those apply to all eBay members.

Please do not interpret our inability to provide a refund as a lack of caring.  We genuinely want all your experiences on eBay to be positive, and if there was more we could do, I would absolutely do it for you. I am confident you and your shipping carrier and buyer can successfully resolve this problem.

I realise how frustrating this situation might be, but I hope this information makes our position clear. I wish you a pleasant day.

Kind regards,

Janine Zauberer
