Hi.
I sold a fan and remote. I forgot to send remote with inital fan parcel
So i got remote to buyer a day later. Buyer then leaves return case open for 3 weeks, returning item AFTER case has closed "due to missing parts" (there was no missing parts)
I then recieve back fan + remote in same visual condition, I try fan that works but the REMOTE DOES NOT
Now since case was closed after 28th June as he didnt send item, but he sent it after, case was reopened in his favour by 1st June even before I got to check parcel.
Today is when I check parcel for myself, and I find remote is useless. most likely water damaged. Buyer did say it was for his disabled daughter which is why I guess it no longer works but why wont ebay help me open a case? instead they trying to get me to contact trading standards?
HELLO? EBAY? THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM YOU ALLOW PEOPLE TO USE MY ITEM FOR 3 WEEKS AT NO COST, BREAK IT, THEN RETURN??
I NEED HELP WHAT CAN I DO TO GET MY MONEY BACK WHY WONT EBAY HELP
