Hello everyone i would just like to start with the fact hat i have never purchased a counterfeit item on ebay before but as the saying goes if something looks too good to be true then it ususally is,So i have gone and purchased an item on ebay and usually this would probably go for around £350-£500 i guess purchaing it in a store but i just bought it brand new for £62 so my question is,What happens once it arrives and i can confirm that it is indeed counterfeit as the item i have purchased i can check on the brands website to confirm its authenticity and so do i send it back and ask for a refund or do i contact ebay first
kind regards

You don't do either. EBays procedures are autometed. You open a case under eBay's money back guarantee, through the resolution centre: http://resolutioncentre.ebay.co.uk/
A case must be opened within 30 days after the actual or latest estimated delivery date. If the seller wants the item to be returned, eBay will enable them to send you a prepaid return label (this may not apply if the item location was outside the UK). After 8 days the option will appear to escalate the case for eBay to step in, if necessary. If still unresolved, escalate it, and don't agree to close the case before you have your refund.
