Problem with Sent/Expired Offers

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone knows how to solve this problem.  I've contacted eBay but they didn't really understand what I was trying to ask.  Here goes............

For example, I've got two watchers on an item.  I've sent an offer to them both. In the meantime, another two watchers are added so now I have 4 watchers.  My original offer has still only been sent to the two original watchers and I can't find a way to send the offer to the additional two watchers. 

Is it the way I've set this up?  

Also when the offers have expired, I still can't resend the offer to the two additional watchers as it's still saying 'Offers sent to buyers' even though the offer has expired. 

There must be a way to get round this but I've looked and looked and can't find one.

I hope I've made this clear enough as eBay couldn't get thir head round it!!!

Any ideas or help will be much appreciated.

your new watchers haven't been watching long enough to qualify to have an offer sent

I think you only get one offer per watcher to stop you bombarding watchers with offers

This is what ebay says about offersto watchers, in amongst it all you may find the answer to your question -

If a buyer watches your item or adds it to their basket, you can send them special offers. Here's how:

1. Go to My eBay Selling or Seller Hub Active.
2. Select Send offer beside the eligible item (or Eligible to send offers, if you're using Seller Hub).
   • Not all listings are eligible. Eligibility is determined by a number of factors, including age of listing, listing format, and rules that manage the number of offers buyers receive
   • Item's must be in the buyer's basket for at least 5 days to send an offer
3. Select an offer price.
   • The amount must be at least 5% less than the Buy It Now price for items under £200, 3% for items between £200 and £1000, and 2% for items over £1000
   • Postage will not be included in this price
4. Add a message to buyers.
5. Select Send offer to buyers.

Sending offers in bulk

You can also send an offer for multiple listings at once using Seller Hub. Here's how:

1. Go to Seller Hub Active
2. Select Send Offers - Eligible to see your eligible listings.
3. Select the listings you want to send an offer on and select Send Offers.
4. Select a Percent off discount(e.g 10%). This discount will apply to all the listings you selected.
   • With tiered offer discounts, the discount percentage must be at least 5% less than the Buy It Now price for items under £200, 3% for items between $200 and £1,000, and 2% for items over £1,000.
   • Add a message.
   • Select Send offers.

Offers will be sent to the 30 most recent interested buyers (people watching your items or who have added your items to their basket). Each offer is valid for 48 hours or until the listing is sold, whichever comes first. With a single item listing, the first buyer to accept the offer gets the item. With a multiple quantity listing, buyers can continue to avail of the offer until all items in the listing are sold or the offer expires.

Automatically send offers

You can save time by enabling offers to be sent automatically to interested buyers. After you send an offer, you can change your automatic offers settings by going to the Active Listings page in My eBay or Seller Hub and selecting Offer settings. On this page you'll be able to:

• Enable or disable offers from being sent automatically
• Adjust the automatic offer amount
• Turn counteroffers on or off
