I am a private seller and just posted an item to take advantage of the £3 max seller fees on ebay. Since posting my item I received a message to say my item has been succesfully boosted and seller fees of over 10% will apply.
I understand boosting items is usually reserved for business sellers and understand this algorithm probably exists to make more money from private sellers but what options do I have now. Do I have to end the listing or can I remove the boosting and only pay the maximum fees as offered? Should I expect every item to be automatically boosted from now on and have to pay the 10% minimum fees as a private seller?
