I've just found out about the nectar/Ebay thing. After a purchase over £300, which would have awarded me some points with Nectar. It was at confirmation Email that I found out,cheers! Can points be claimed for purchases prior to having the Nectar card?

No.  Points are awarded at the time of the sale, not afterwards.

Thanks, Thought as much, lol.
Guess I could Cancel the order and then place it again! But I don't think thats really worth the hassle to me or the seller.
Kinda goes against the grain with me.
