Pre-approved payment on Paypal

I am writing as I need help with Paypal payment record with Ebay reference.

Some money has been taken out from my Paypal account on 16th Jan 18.

The transation say that it is Pre-approved Payment. Please could you let me know what it is?

This is a members forum. There's no-one here from eBay or PayPal.

Since it refers to return shipping refunds it sounds as though you have been required to refund a buyer. In accepting eBay and PayPal's user agreements you pre-approved any payments arising from claims under eBay's money back guarantee.

You should find details of any cases opened against you in your seller dashboard.

If you still can't account for it you may need to phone eBay customer support.
