Postage

I listed an item for postage at £8, the actual postage is £12.98 for parcel Force can I ask for the full amount after payment of the item.

No.  the buyer may not have bid if the postage had been £5 dearer.  You can't move the goalposts after the sale..

You just have to take the loss yourself.  If it's any consolation - we've all been there.

No. You can not ask for any more than on the listing

Your mistake so you have to make up the difference

 

We have all done it at some time of another and learn from our mistakes

 

It is always best to check weights and measurements with the packaging before listing your items

so you dont get caught out

 

no, you have to check how much the P&P is going to be BEFORE you list the item,

 

 

you cannot charge more after the sale.
