The problem is that pressure from buyers to use the cheapest delivery service is driving sellers towards usung budget couriers surcharge for delivery. This is fine for mainland UK, but budget couriers almost invariably chare extre for delivery to remote areas.

It's true that Royal Mail doesn't charge extra, but if sellers charge Royal Mail's higher prices they're liable to lose sales in the mainland to sellers who use couriers, or to be marked down for high delivery charges.

If a seller still offers delivery to the Scottish Highlands, even woith a surcharge, be thankful. This would be too complicated for many sellers. Besides which, so many buyers in Scotland have been abusive to sellers about surcharges that it's easier just to exclude delivery to these regions.

Is the Couriers who charge extra for Remote Parts of the UK. Royal Mail don't.
