Why, when posting or returning an item, are there only two options for the carrier?
The carrier I use (Hermes) has a drop-off point round the corner from my house. It provides a tracking number and insurance, and is a little cheaper than the options offered by ebay. Why is there no "other" option for postal carriers so that I can enter tracking details, etc easily? Really irritating.
It provides a tracking number and insurance
Before placing too much confidence in Hermes insurance, check out the list of non-compensation Items:
"insurance" Have you actually checked what you think ou are paying? Have you read telong list of items that are not covered, or that if it is braekable it is not covered for damage.
They may take your money, but it will be a different story if you ever have to claim.
You woud no doubt find more options if you used the ADVANCED listing form. On the quick listing form ebay think members need decisions made for them.
You dont have to use ebay postage options you can post with whoever you want to and wherever you want to
You just go to the Hermes site and buy direct
You put the tracking onto the item in your sold section as soon as you have posted it
