Postage error

I sold an item and left the postage as £0 because I couldnt find the cost. I've since got the cost of the postage and I need to add this to the invoice.

However the seller paid before i could invoice them and are now expecting free postage, which I'm not willing to pay. I've contacted the buyer and told them.

Is there any recommended action?

Thanks

Sorry, there is nothing you can do now. You should not have listed the item untill you knew what the correct postage would be. The buyer has bought in good faith expecting free postage, which is what you offered. If you don't send the item the buyer will open an INR case, and get a full refund, and you will get a defect on your account. If I were your buyer I would not be willing to pay extra when the item I bought said free postage, and I bought it on those terms.
