Postage costs

I seem to have bden marked down on one of my sales for postage and dont know why or which item. I put the lowest amount using the guide sometimes. I always advertise signed for option as it is tracked either vua myhermes or Royal Mail. I pack everuthing properly in postage bags or boxes with bubble wrap etc. When I first started with ebay I didnt post tgem properly and lost put but thats my error. Am I doing something wrong . Thanks

There are some really spiteful people out there who will mark you down for a penny as fast as they'd mark you down for a pound.  The only surefire way to avoid this is to go 'free' postage, adding the p&p costs to the start price.
