Please advise why Ebay still shows "FREE POSTAGE" we all know that postage from one person/company to another is not FREE.
This price of the socalled "FREE POSTAGE" is included/added to the item/other being purchased.
Due to this how dose one know the actual price of the item being bought, and the price of the postal/delivery charges.
This should be indicated as seperate prices, everybody will see the actual price of what is being paid.
Hi
Yes you are correct whether the postage cost is included in the price or listed separately the buyer still usually ends up paying postage. Not always.
I do not see why you are so concerned...if you are happy to pay X amount for an item (no matter how postage costs are included) you are still paying the same amount for the item.
Most people will know roughly how much it costs to post an item so they can work it out for themselves how much they are paying for the actual item.
Also some sellers prefer to include the postage costs and not list them separately because buyers will mark their stars down wrongly. Quite a lot of buyers will only look at the cost on the lable and if the seller charges more than this they get marked down. There are two Ps in Postage and packaging ..........unfortunately buyers often do not take into account packaging costs etc and think they are being overcharged if charged more than the stamp price.
