Has anyone else noticed that when an item is relisted the postage changes.
I have listed several items with free postage. Let's say when first listed I quote 2nd Class Royal Mail at £3.20. Yet when it gets automatically relisted it shows free to buyer but that I will pay postage as 'other' at £28.55.
Each time I have to go into revise listing.
Will this affect my total selling charges?
I can't see any item with such postage, but reading through the details it refers to 20Kg !!
REMOVE AUTOMATIC RELIST and relist manually. Switch to the Seller hub (read recent announcements)
Have you filled in any boxes on the listings giving weights / measurements? If so ebay will estimate the postage cost. NEVER complete those boxes, keep control over your own postage.
I don't know what but when relisted something important is getting changed.
That figure will not affect any charges / fees. You are charged on the amount an item sells for + postage, at 10%. * + Paypal Fees. That £28 is a complete work of fiction, but as you are mostly charging £3.20 that is what any payment and charge would be based on. No way are you committed to pay postage of £28.
You don't appear to be on Managed payments but if so would be no paypal charge, but ebay would be 12.8% + 30p.
With so many NEW items you should really be registered as a Business Seller, this could even have been picked up by Ebay's Robots causing weird things to happen. register now so that you are selling legally.
