Can anyone please tell me the uk address or email address for ebay?
The customer service is very poor. I have had an issue with a seller who did not send me the item.I refered the issue to ebay, the case went in my favour but i was only refunded for half the amount. I appealed but was refused even though I told them that, on the seller's feedback , it had happened on a regular basis. Customers bought an item, they never received it ,they had to ask ebay to step in and there was no communication from the seller. I have reported this but the seller is still operating on ebay.
None of us knows what went wrong in your case, but eBay's money back guarantee is normally extremely food for buyers. Providing they follow the procedure correctly it's almost impossible for the buyer to lose.
EBay's customer service has always been poor - in part because it's so overloaded by users with trivial questions to which they could easily have used eBay's help pages to find the answer. EBay has no complaints procedure, which tells you everything about its attitude to complaints. There's no point in suggesting that they should have one, as eBay's policy on suggestions is that it doesn't accept suggestions!
You can write to their London Head Office address in the user agreement - or eBay itself apparently tells users to write to Dublin, which isn't even mentioned in the UK user agreement. - which seems to typify eBay's disinterest. Let us know whether you receive a reply!
