Why are Pitney Bowes allowed to charge exorbitant rates and you do not find out until after you have placed the order and they have already taken your money.

22.39 GBP turned into 88.05 almost double the cost of the item.  This should not be allowed.

It is expensive. Don't forget though that includes the Customs and Import Duty. Next time find a Seller who organises their own Shipping.

Not fair to Leave the Seller Negative Feedback though. They are permitted to offer Global Shipping. Was your choice to Buy from them.

The postage quoted was 22.39 GBP by the seller, which is what I agreed to pay the seller. I had no knowledge of Pitney Bowes being involved in the transation or was advised as such, until I found they had taken 88.05 GBP in postage from my paypal account.. The feedback is to warn other potential purchasers that the item purchased from the seller is subject to very expensive postage regardless of customs or import duty, which in Australia is levied on imported goods as far as I am aware over the sum of $1000. GST is 10% and customs 5% so nowhere near the amount charged. I appreciate what you are suggesting but If you look at the feedback you will see that the item received 5 starts, the seller 3 stars because the response I had back to my query was unintelligible.

the response will have been unintelligible because the seller isn't involved in the charges and has no idea what they are! to mark the seller down for something that has absolutely nothing to do with them is unacceptable!
