I've just had a text from someone regarding an item I'm selling! Shocked is not the word! I had no idea my private phone number was available! How can I hide/remove it? I'm a private seller not a business. I've look in site preferences & can't see an option to hide my mobile.
ref response that's not my mobile on gumtree as I don't want my number out there for different reasons. Also I asked & they said they saw it on EBay? I've had no contact information requests.
Not it really sure why I'm being persecuted??!! Yes it's my advert but NOT my number, it's a different number attached to EBay.
The person who text said they got my number off EBay & as it's not the same number as on Gumtree this led me to ask the question!
Wow there really is no need to be so harsh! Sorry you didn't understand what I meant when I said it's not my number?! I never said it wasn't my advert?! Wish I'd not bothered querying it now! I'll ring EBay instead!!
This is hilarious!!! Read the query!!! Duh! It's MY advert on gumtree but not my number, it's a different phone number that I put in so they can't of used that advert to text my phone number. Engage brain! The numbers are different!!! Dumb or what??!! Get of this thread if you have nothing useful to say! Except being nasty! EBay are now looking into it as they understand perfectly! Unlike some! 😂😂
