Payments not shown on PayPal when eBay says buyer has paid

Hi, Can anyone help me. Ebay is saying buyer has paid and I should despach an item however the funds have not gone into my Paypal account yet. Is there usually a delay? Thanks.

Your on Managed Payments. Your Payments are paid into your Bank Account not PayPal. It takes a few days to Clear into your Bank. You must Post the Items when EBay instruct you too. Otherwise you could have Buyers opening Not Received Cases and leaving Negative Feedback.

but funds have always gone into my PayPal for me to retrieve them otherwise whats the point of PayPal?

Ebay no longer allow sellers to use paypal, buyers can still pay with it. https://sellercentre.ebay.co.uk/selling/managed-payments/?targetgroup=C2C
