Payment period

Is it fair that sellers are allowed to open an "unpaid item" case after only two days ? Especially when their stipulated payment terms state payment within five days ? I had intended to collect and pay cash but have now paid by credit card through Paypal just so they get charged commision.

Hello...

It may be that they have the unpaid assistant turned on so an unpaid case is automatically opened after 48 hours which is how long Ebay give a Buyer to pay before an unpaid case can be opened.

Some sellers do not even realise they have this feature switched on.
