I have received an Email with the following message. Is Ebay really abandoning PayPal, I thought they are connected?

Your payments are changing, are you ready?

eBay will now manage how you get paid.

This means:

  No more PayPal fees

  You get paid directly to your bank account, not your PayPal account

We just need some additional information so you can be paid directly to your bank account.

No ebay and paypal split a long time ago into seperate businesses

It is the ebay managed payments whicch is being rolled out to all sellers.

It was at first just businesses but now it is private sellers

We will all have to accept it sooner or later
