PayPal fees

My latest transactions have had fees of over 6% taken by PayPal. This of course in addition to eBay's 10%. Tried to change a listing from PayPal as method of payment but was refused, saying I had to use PayPal. Is there a way not to use PayPal? Nearly 17% deductions is unacceptable.

at the moment you have to use paypal, you can't list without it

ebay are moving sellers away from paypal, but increasing the percent they charge, so you won't be any better off
