I bought a patio heater which advertised a free cover, I messaged about the cover to be told it would be sent, it didnt arrive so i messaged again, now no response. Asked ebay to step in, seller replied and said item was sent giving a date, but this date was the patio heaters delivery. I messaged again and still bo response, ebay has now closed the case due to no activity, i sent a message on 6th July waiting for a response so i dont understand how they can just close the case without it being dealt with. I have now had to purchase a cover as i cannot store the heater in my home and a main reason for buying this heater was the free cover. How do i resolve this issue?? Thanks
You should have opened a Returns Case for Item Not As Described/Parts Missing. You would have had to Return the Heater though and Paid the Return Postage if bought from Outside the UK.
You can try opening a Case with PayPal if you Paid that way. You have 180 days Buyer Protection. Log in and find Resolve a problem down the left hand side. Escalate the Case after 2 days but before 20 days.
PayPal do have a "Returns On Us" Postage Offer. You would need to apply for that before opening the Returns Case.
